Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (KRIB)

KRIB is a national representative employers’ organization, which unites:

• over 12.500 companies, members through individual and collective membership
• 141 Branch Associations
• 255 Regional Representations
• 12 Sectoral Permanent Committees

KRIB members:

• Produce three quarters of Bulgaria’s GDP
• Provide jobs to over 900.000 people
• Account for more than three quarters of the country’s exports

KRIB has a mission to be most effective in the process of improving the business climate in the country and to raise the competitiveness of the Bulgarian economy and the companies operating in Bulgaria

KRIB is an active partner in the social dialogue:  

• Has representatives in the social dialog on national, sectoral, regional, and European level
• Presents opinions on draft laws in the Bulgarian Parliament
• Is a member of the National Council for Tripartite Cooperation and its commissions
• Formulates policies for the labor market: drafts particular policies for overcoming the lack of qualified labor force and creating conditions for a developed, flexible, deregulated labor market
